Tackling workplace stress is one of those rare win/win opportunities:

Corporate Diagnostics have considerable experience in measuring stress in the workplace using a variety of well tested tools via on-line surveys, paper questionnaires, focus groups and one to one enquiries. We recognise that all organisations are unique and the solutions must match that but be based on a core of robust methodologies.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) audit tool is a valuable measurement instrument and at the most basic level we can simply administer this for you from a distance and you can pull your own results from their analysis tool. This approach can be very economically attractive.

The analysis offered by the HSE tool is good but limited in detail and presentation. We can offer those who want it a greater level of analysis and therefore insight from the results and present it in ways that are more suitable for particular audiences and the purpose.

Many of our clients however want a little more as the HSE simply measures pressures which are present. For these typically we will add lines of enquiry about:

  • Coping ability – impacts of pressures
  • External pressures – events at home often affect performance at work
    Further we can look at internal benchmarking from perspectives you might not have though of:
  • Brand advocacy
  • Identification of staff types - ambassadors vs. internal terrorists, laid back vs. motivated workers, groups at risk of failure etc. 

It is important that our clients and the managers in organisations who will have to work with staff understand the results. We take a lot of time to present the outcomes of surveys and audits in a useful manner which facilitates informed dialogue and avoids confusion from technical complexity.

We do not use our stress measurement services as a selling platform for our own interventional or remedial services. This is not our business and ensures no conflict of interest. We can arrange introductions to appropriate independent contractors if requested.
